For Brooke and Tony’s woodland-inspired Lexington wedding at The Apiary, Narnia was the main directive. The outside was brought in to create an urban oasis using lots of greenery and moss. Layers of fur and countless candles added texture and gave the night its natural and magical feel. And speaking of magical, Tony, a composer, wrote the song Brooke walked down the aisle to.

With a focus on an incredible meal and amazing wine, the couple hosted a sit-down dinner with speeches instead of dancing. After an evening full of conversation and toasts to celebrate the marriage, guests sent the newlyweds off the only way they knew how – grabbing candles and singing Christmas carols, since they’re one of the the couple’s favorite things. It made no difference that it was the middle of the summer, it was just perfectly fitting for the bride and groom.
